The KEB 02.91.010-CE07 is a COMBITRON 91 half-wave rectifier that supplies DC power to electromagnetic brakes and clutches. It accepts up to 275 V AC and delivers a DC output of 0.45 × the input voltage at up to 1.2 A, as printed on the unit's label and in KEB's COMBITRON 91 manual. At KEB's UL rating of 240 V AC input, the output is 108 V DC. The part number is also written 0291010-CE07.
What is the COMBITRON 91 used for?
KEB designs the COMBITRON 91 exclusively for supplying electromechanical clutches and brakes. It converts incoming AC into DC and is compact enough to fit inside most motor terminal boxes. Internal varistors protect the switching contacts, and the rectifier can be switched on the AC (line) side or the DC (load) side.
What do the terminals do?
The terminal strip is marked ~ ~ for the AC input, + and − for the DC output to the brake coil, and a switch symbol for the DC-side switching input. For DC-side switching, a DC-rated contact is wired to those terminals, which gives much faster brake engagement. For AC-side switching, KEB fits a wire jumper across the switch terminals. On this unit, a blue wire jumper is fitted across the switch terminals.
What condition is this rectifier in?
Used. The photos show the grey KEB housing with the part number, UL and CE marks and the terminal legend, the rating label on the side, a blue jumper on the switch terminals, and a metal mounting bracket screwed to the housing. Please review all photos to confirm the condition.

Questions about this part
What is the KEB 02.91.010-CE07?
A KEB COMBITRON 91 half-wave rectifier that turns an AC supply of up to 275 V into DC for brake or clutch coils, with an output of 0.45 × the input voltage at up to 1.2 A.
What DC voltage do I get from 230 V or 240 V AC?
The output is 0.45 × the input voltage. KEB's UL rating is 240 V AC in and 108 V DC out; at 230 V AC input the formula gives about 104 V DC.
What is the blue wire on the terminals?
It is a jumper across the DC-side switching terminals. KEB uses this jumper when the brake is switched on the AC side; for DC-side switching the jumper is replaced by a DC-rated switching contact.
Can I use it with a 400 V supply?
No. The 02.91.010-CE07 is rated for a maximum of 275 V AC input. KEB's 04.91 COMBITRON models are rated up to 500 V AC.
What is the difference between 02.91.010-CE07 and 02.91.020-CE07?
In KEB's COMBITRON 91 table the 010 is the half-wave version (0.45 × Uin output, 1.2 A) and the 020 is the full-wave version (0.9 × Uin output, 2.0 A).
