Siemens 6SE6400-3CC04-4DD0, the Micromaster 4 AC commutation choke for 380-600 V three-phase supplies, rated 45.8 A and 0.41 mH. New, in its original Siemens box, which has been opened. Issue E 01. Also searched as 6SE6400 3CC04 4DD0 or 6SE64003CC044DD0.
Which Micromaster frame size does it fit?
Siemens lists it as a footprint choke for frame size D (FSD), so it mounts under a Micromaster 4 drive of that frame. The same data sheet says it is not a footprint part for the SINAMICS V20. Overall size is 520 x 275 x 83.5 mm.
How is it wired?
Mains go into the L1 L2 L3 screw terminal block on the end of the choke. The output to the drive is a pigtail, 16 mm² conductors about 0.79 m long, in the grey sleeve you see coiled in the box. PE goes to an M8 stud.
What does a line choke do on a drive?
A Siemens line choke (line reactor) sits between the mains and the drive input. Its inductance smooths voltage peaks, buffers commutation dips and cuts the harmonics the drive puts back on the supply.

No. Siemens marks it as a frame size D footprint part for Micromaster 4 and not a footprint part for the V20.
