Toradex Iris V2.0A carrier board for Colibri computer-on-modules, new open box in its Toradex tray. The sticker on the underside reads Iris V2.0A, serial 10610938, and the silkscreen says Iris Rev. 2.0. It came to us as a Lumenis spare part, but every marking on the board is Toradex's. No Colibri module is included: the SODIMM socket is empty. Searched as Toradex Iris 2.0, Toradex Iris Rev 2.0 or Iris carrier board.
Which Colibri modules fit the Toradex Iris carrier board?
Toradex says Iris supports all modules in the Colibri family through its 200-pin SODIMM socket. Some functions depend on the module: the Colibri Txx and iMX6 can drive two displays at once (DVI plus VGA, LVDS or RGB), while PXA and VFxx modules drive one.
What is in the tray?
The board, a green 2-pin pluggable terminal plug and a flat flex cable printed AWM 20624 80C 60V, all in the clear Toradex blister tray marked www.toradex.com. There is no power supply, module, coin cell or display.
How is it powered?
Through the 2-pin terminal block X17 at 6-27 V DC. The onboard supply gives 5 V and 3.3 V rails and is protected against reverse polarity and short circuit. The holder BAT1 takes a 12 mm coin cell (CR1216, BR1220, BR1225 and similar) for the real-time clock.
Is V2.0A different from Iris V1.1?
Yes. Toradex reworked the power supply, Ethernet, USB, micro SD, LVDS and audio circuits on V2.0A and rates it industrial temperature grade. The LVDS connector changed, so check the panel cable if you are replacing a V1.1 board. Toradex product number for V2.0A is 01352000.

Does the Toradex Iris come with a Colibri module?
No. The SODIMM socket is empty in the photos; you need your own Colibri module.
What power supply does the Iris V2.0A need?
6-27 V DC into the 2-pin terminal block X17. Toradex rates the input at up to 10 A.
Is it a Lumenis part?
It came out of Lumenis stock, but the board is a standard Toradex Iris and carries only Toradex markings.
Can I connect an LVDS display?
Yes, through the 40-pin LVDS connector X7. The LVDS circuit is the main change from V1.1, so check your panel cable.
What is the difference between Toradex Iris and Iris 2.0?
Iris 2.0 (V2.0A, V2.0B) is the reworked board with industrial temperature grade and a new LVDS circuit; V1.1A and V1.1B are the earlier versions.
