It is rated 0.64 N·m at 3000 r/min, uses a 17-bit encoder (131,072 pulses per revolution) and is driven by the 200 W-class MR-J2S-20 servo amplifiers. The K suffix marks the version with a keyed shaft. The nameplate reads 3AC 118 V, 1.1 A, 200 W, 3000 r/min, class B, 1.0 kg. Made in Japan. Also searched as HCKFS23K or HC-KFS23.

Which servo amplifier drives the HC-KFS23K?

Mitsubishi pairs the HC-KFS23 with MR-J2S-20A (general-purpose interface), MR-J2S-20B (SSCNET), MR-J2S-20CP or MR-J2S-20CL on 200 V class mains, or the MR-J2S-20A1, 20B1, 20CP1 and 20CL1 versions on 100 V AC mains. The 118 V on the nameplate is the voltage the amplifier supplies to the motor, not a mains supply.

What is the difference between HC-KFS23, HC-KFS23B and HC-KFS23K?

All are the same 200 W motor. HC-KFS23 has the standard straight shaft, HC-KFS23B adds an electromagnetic brake, and HC-KFS23K is Mitsubishi's special shaft-end version with a key. This unit has no brake.

What condition is this motor in?

Used. The photos show the motor with its power and encoder leads and connectors attached, a toothed timing pulley fitted on the shaft, and the rear encoder cover with CE, TÜV Rheinland and avoid-sharp-impact labels. Please review all photos to confirm the condition.

The HC-KFS43K is the 400 W model of the same series and needs a 400 W MR-J2S-40 amplifier. The HC-KFS23K is the 200 W model for the MR-J2S-20 amplifiers.
