Ghisalba Trinotrol CNC, a motor speed drive from Ghisalba of Italy in an orange steel case, marked for 25 A maximum output current. Used, pulled from a production line. The cover carries handwritten plant numbers (55-500-5040) and Hebrew notes from its last site, plus a scuffed paint finish and old tape marks. Inside are two boards, CBC 01 (power) and RBC-01 (control).
How is the Ghisalba drive set up?
The rating plate is a tick-box table in Italian. On this unit the 25A box under CORRENTE MAX. USCITA (max output current) is marked. The other options are 35A, 48A and 62A. Supply voltage (TENSIONE ALIMENTAZIONE) offers 220 V or 380 V, frequency 50 or 60 Hz, and output voltage (TENSIONE USCITA) shows 440V. None of those boxes is marked.
What feedback does the Trinotrol CNC take?
The label lists armature (ARM.), transducer (TRASD.) and tachogenerator at 1000, 2000 or 3000 rpm. Armature and tacho feedback are the usual choices on DC motor drives. None of the feedback boxes is marked on this unit.
What do the front adjustments and lights mean?
Six trimmers sit behind holes in the cover: giri massimi (max speed), giri minimi (min speed), smorzamento (damping), accelerazione, decelerazione and limite corrente (current limit). Two lights show fasi errate (wrong phase sequence) and in marcia (running).
