The Domintell DTDIR03-W is an integrated infrared receiver for the Domintell home and building automation bus, in white. The infrared sensor and the decoding module are combined in one unit, which decodes 32 channels sent by a Domintell infrared remote control. It is powered from the bus, draws 12 mA, and installs in a standard flush-mounted box. The item is new, in its original box. It is also written DTDIR03 W or DTDIR03.
What does the DTDIR03-W do?
It lets a Domintell installation be controlled with an infrared remote. The receiver picks up the 38 kHz infrared signal and decodes up to 32 channels, and each decoder can be configured independently in the Domintell system. The -W suffix marks the white version; Domintell also makes it in light grey (DTDIR03-LG).
What is in the box?
The photos show the receiver module with its white front cover, a ribbon cable to a small connection board with colour-coded push-in terminals marked +, −, RS+ and RS−, a black mounting frame with metal clips, a bag with two metal claws, two screws and a rubber band, and a printed installation leaflet. The box is labelled "IR sensor with built-in module" in English, French and Dutch.
Which frame does it fit?
Domintell lists the DPBCA01 frame as the compatible frame for the DTDIR03 receiver.
