Two NEC D71055C chips (U10, U11), which are CMOS parallel interface units with three 8-bit I/O ports in the 8255 style. The board also carries two ST ULN2803A Darlington driver arrays (U12, U13), 74HC-series logic including MC74HC541 buffers, a 74HC245 transceiver and two 74HC688 comparators, and yellow resistor networks. Two 4-position DIP switches (S1, S2) and a green pluggable terminal block sit on the top edge.
