The display board silkscreen reads KARL STORZ M17102B, with a handwritten SN 1766, ECN 6 and CR 18V-0 markings. The control board silkscreen reads KARL STORZ and 17101A (the first character is hidden behind a capacitor), with a handwritten SN 1415 and a V1.2 label on its 40-pin processor.
What components are on it?
The M17102B side uses MC74HC374AN latches and an MC74HC138AN decoder to drive the display. The control board has a 7.3728 MHz ECS crystal, MC74HC00AN, MC14016BCP and MM74HC123AN logic, 7812 (+12 V) and 7805 (+5 V) regulators on a shared heat sink, and 1000 µF 25 V and 2200 µF 16 V capacitors. Header labels include XFMR and FAN.
