The B&R X20 SA 4430 (X20SA4430) is a safe analog input module for the B&R X20 system with 2 safe input pairs for current signals from 0.5 to 25 mA, for safety applications up to SIL 3 / PL e. This unit is hardware revision F0 and is mounted on an X20 BM 33 bus module, revision D0, the SafeIO base that B&R lists as a required accessory. Both parts are marked Made in Austria. Condition: used.
What does the X20SA4430 do?
It reads 4-20 mA type current signals from safety-related sensors and passes them to the B&R safety controller. Each input pair has its own sensor power supply, and the channels with their sensor supplies are galvanically isolated from each other. The converter has 24-bit resolution, and the filter time can be set from 1 to 66.7 ms.
What is the X20 BM 33?
The X20BM33 is the X20 bus module for X20 SafeIO modules, with the internal I/O power supply connected through to the next module. The electronic module plugs onto it, and the base snaps onto the DIN rail and links to the neighbouring modules.
