What voltages does this Vega 650 put out?
H1H_4 gives 5.0 V / 12 A plus 24.0 V / 4.5 A. H3_1L gives 12.0 V / 10 A plus 3.3 V / 8 A. H5_4 gives 24.0 V / 5 A plus 24.0 V / 4.5 A. Each module has screw terminals and blue trim pots on the output end.
Is the TDK-Lambda Vega 650 rated for medical use?
TDK-Lambda has a UL medical report covering the Vega 450, 650 and 900. This 2008 label lists a 290 uA max leakage filter option but does not print a medical standard, so treat the rating of this unit as unconfirmed.
Does the power cord come with it?
Yes. A black AC cord with a three-pin plug is wired into the clear-covered input terminal block next to the fan, as shown. Input is 100-240 V ac nominal, 47-63 Hz, 11 A rms max.

Questions about this part
Can I trim the output voltages?
Each module has blue trim pots at the output terminals, so small adjustments are possible within the module range.
What do the BS slots mean?
BS marks blank slots with no module fitted. This unit has two of them.
Where can I find the TDK-Lambda Vega 650 manual?
The label points to www.emea.tdk-lambda.com for the installation manual and to testcert.emea.tdk-lambda.com for the test certificate.
Is it the same as the Lambda-branded V6080GD?
Same product code and module set. Our 2006 unit carries the older Lambda label and a 300 uA leakage filter; this 2008 unit reads 290 uA.
Which plug is on the cord?
A three-pin plug, photographed attached. Check that it suits your mains outlet or rewire the input block.
