Schneider Electric LRD3365, the TeSys LRD thermal overload relay with an 80-104 A setting range and trip class 10A. It plugs straight under an LC1D80 or LC1D95 contactor for motor protection. New, open box: the relay sits in its TeSys carton.
Which contactors does the LRD3365 fit?
Schneider lists the LC1D80 and LC1D95. The side label adds LP1D and the LA7D adapter for separate mounting. For rail or plate mounting away from the contactor you need that accessory.
How does a thermal overload relay work?
Motor current heats bimetal strips inside the relay. If the current stays above the dial setting long enough, the strips bend, the 95-96 NC contact opens and drops the contactor coil. The LRD is differential, so it also trips on phase failure or a strongly unbalanced load.
What is on the front?
The blue setting dial, the red stop button, the blue reset button with its manual/auto selector, a test slide, and the auxiliary contacts 95-96 (NC) and 97-98 (NO). Power terminals 2/T1, 4/T2, 6/T3 are screw clamps for 4 to 35 mm² cable.

How do I set the LRD3365 for my motor?
Turn the blue dial to the motor's full-load current, anywhere from 80 to 104 A. The label notes the dial is FLA and the relay trips at 125% for UL use.
Is LRD3365 the same as LRD3365C?
This one is the plain LRD3365 printed on the label. We have no Schneider document here describing a C suffix, so check your drawing if it calls for one.
Does it reset automatically?
Either way. The blue reset button has a manual/auto selector on the front.
Can it be used on DC?
Schneider's datasheet lists both AC and DC networks, with a network frequency range of 0 to 400 Hz.
What does class 10A mean?
It is the trip time class under IEC 60947-4-1, the standard class for ordinary motors with a normal start.
