This is a Patlite LCE series 40 mm LED signal tower (light tower) with red, amber and green modules, flashing and a built-in buzzer, rated 24V AC/DC, model LCE-_02FB on the label. The blank in the label model is the tier count; with three modules fitted (red, amber, green), this is the configuration Patlite lists as LCE-302FB-RYG. Machines use a signal tower like this to show status at a distance: green running, amber warning, red stop or fault.
What does the label say?
PATLITE, MODEL LCE-_02FB, 13131P, VOLT. 24V AC/DC, Class 2, AMP. 0.2A, IP 54, CE, RoHS, cULus, PATLITE Corp., made in Indonesia.
What does the FB in LCE-02FB mean?
In the Patlite LCE range, FB models add a flashing function and two built-in alarms: alarm 1 is a fast intermittent beep and alarm 2 a slow intermittent beep, up to 85 dB at 1 m with adjustable volume. Flashing is 60 flashes per minute. Models without FB light steadily only.
How is a Patlite LCE light tower wired?
Each LED tier has a wire colored to match its lens (red, orange for amber, green), switched by external contacts or NPN/PNP open-collector outputs on the 24 V models. On this unit the cable ends in a 9-pin D-sub male connector, not open wires, so check the pinout before connecting.
What is in the photos?
The three-tier tower in ivory ABS, mounted on a metal pole with a round flange base with four mounting holes, and the cable with its D-sub connector. Condition: used.
