NK-C304-40 processor control board from Nikon, PCB number 4S015-173-B, pulled and used. The yellow sticker reads 4S015-205-C304-BT-31. A white ID sticker on the edge reads 300487 and the card lever carries a tag A-50B. Made in Japan. Also written as NKC304-40 or 4S015173B.

Which firmware does this board carry?

Four socketed EPROMs labelled BT-31 1.50, numbered 21 to 24, with checksums 6190, 2F3B, 29D6 and C859. That matches the BT-31 on the yellow 4S015-205-C304-BT-31 sticker.

What is on the front edge of the NK-C304-40?

Four 7-segment displays, two red 8-way DIP switch banks, a rotary switch and a small reset switch. A third DIP switch bank sits on the left side of the board. The two backplane connectors are Pancon 100-096-053, 96 pins each.
