The Navitar 1-62707 is the fixed mount and coaxial assembly for Navitar's Precise Eye fixed-magnification machine vision lens system. Navitar's box label reads "Fixed Mount & Coax Assy (Precise Eye) – Machine Vision Lenses and Accessories", with the USA as country of origin. In the Precise Eye system diagram, 1-62707 is the standard body tube without fine focus (Non F.F.) and with a coaxial illumination port. Buyers also search for it as 162707 or 1 62707.
What does the 1-62707 do in a Precise Eye system?
It is the core of the lens. Navitar's Precise Eye series uses fixed magnification, fixed aperture and a fixed working distance, with f/4.5 diffraction-limited optics. A lens attachment on the front and a rear adapter at the camera end set the final magnification, and across those combinations the series covers 0.22X to 91X at working distances from 13 mm to 370 mm. The coax port brings light down the optical axis for shadow-free lighting of flat, reflective parts such as wafers and polished surfaces.
Which light source fits the coax port?
Navitar's BrightLight LED coaxial illuminators are made for the Zoom 6000, 12X Zoom and Precise Eye systems. Check the illuminator model against your system before ordering.
What condition is this unit in?
New. The photos show the assembly sealed in a bubble bag inside its original Navitar box, with the "PRECISE EYE" engraving on the body and a thumbscrew on the side port. The box carries an earlier owner's inventory label and a handwritten sticker.
