Lumenis EA3522000-A, the switching board for an IPM power stage, sold as a bare board. Used. The sticker reads PC ASSY SWITCHING IPM, EA3522000-A; the silkscreen says SWITCHING BOARD IPM, PC3522011, REV. A. Also searched as EA3522000A and EA 3522000-A.

Is the IPM or base plate included?

No. This is the top board only. The square window between the EMITTER and COLECTOR pads (spelled that way on the board) is where the power module sits underneath in the full module. No plate, coil or driver board comes with it.

What is fitted on the board?

Six white ceramic power resistors in a row (R10 to R15), stud diodes D1, D4, D5 and D6 with flying leads, a Sharp S202S02 solid-state relay, three glass fuses (F1 to F3) and Molex-style connectors along both edges. P7 (CAP BANK RED) and P8 (GND) carry short red and black leads with yellow lugs. A DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE KEEP OUT sticker is on the right.

No. Only the board is sold; the power module mounts under it in the complete assembly.

What does IPM stand for on the board?

Intelligent power module: an IGBT module with gate drive and protection built in. This board connects to one.

What is the handwritten date on the label?

It reads 10.10.2002, written next to IPM on the sticker.

Which Lumenis laser or IPL uses it?

The board does not name a system. Check EA3522000-A in your service documentation.

Why does it carry the ESC logo?

ESC Medical Systems became Lumenis in 2001, and boards from that period keep the ESC mark.
