The Dwyer DPT-A04 is a Series DPT digital pressure transmitter with switches, reading 0 to 50 psig and giving a 4–20 mA output plus two programmable PNP switch outputs. The unit label reads Type DPT-A04, 0…50 psig, P# 50853287, made in Germany. Dwyer's Series DPT combines a 4-digit red LED display, two solid-state switches and a thin-film piezoresistive sensor in one compact housing for compatible gases, liquids or vapours. How is the DPT-A04 wired?
The side label shows a 15–35 V DC supply on pin 1 and 0 V on pin 3, the 4–20 mA signal on pin 5, and the SP1 and SP2 switch outputs. Connection is through an M12 × 1, 5-pin connector; Dwyer's matching cable is the A-195, a 2 m shielded cable with a 5-pin female M12 connector.
