This is the JVAR card rack from a Jordan Valley Semiconductors (now Bruker) X-ray tool, fitted with five modules: a Low Power Motor Driver AY00143-00, two Motor Drivers AY00113-00, a Motion Controller AY00122-01 Rev A and an I/O Controller AY00159. Jordan Valley, an Israeli maker of X-ray metrology systems for semiconductor fabs, joined Bruker in 2015. The module numbers are also searched without dashes, as AY0014300, AY0011300 and AY0012201.
What modules are fitted?
The low-power motor driver has four channels (DRV-1 to DRV-4) with EN, FLT and DIS LEDs, up/down switches and a D-sub port. Each AY00113-00 motor driver has two channels with PWR OK, ENABLE, FAIL and DISABLE LEDs, a D-sub port and a P2 test point. The motion controller has CAN and RS232 ports, and the I/O controller has two ribbon headers, P3 and P4. An embedded computer card with an Ethernet port sits inside the rack, and several slots are empty.
What is on the rear panel?
The backplane panel is labelled P1 COMM, P2 LV PS, P3 24V PS, P4 FAN, P5 SYS1, P6 DETECTOR, P7 OPTICS, P8 CHOPPER, P9 FILTER, P10 SYS2, P11 XT AXES, P12 YZ AXES, P13 MONITOR, P14–P18 (MTR1–MTR5), P19 SYS3 and P20 CAN BUS.
