Spellman PCM50P75X2287, a 50kV 75W high voltage power supply built to drive an X-ray tube. Spellman part number X2287. The nameplate gives 0-50kV DC at 4mA, 75W max, from 85-265V AC. Also searched as PCM50P75 X2287 or Spellman X2287.
Which revision will I get?
The photos show two units from stock. The silver one is REV: AK7, assembled in Mexico, date code 21/11, serial 70341-1-A01156. The gold one is REV.K6, made in USA, date code 30/00, serial C31061-083, and carries an extra equipment label reading "R HV Power Supply, Model AS00025". Part number and model are the same on both. If you need a specific revision, ask before you order.
What is on the rear panel?
J1 CONTROL I/O on a 25-pin D connector, J2 IEC mains inlet rated 85-265V~ 47Hz-63Hz, J3 high voltage output socket, a ground stud, and three LEDs: PWR, INTLK and FAULT. A cover label warns to switch off power before disconnecting the X-ray tube.
Is it a standard Spellman PCM model?
The model starts with PCM, Spellman's compact high voltage series built around an off-line resonant converter. The X2287 suffix marks a customer-specific build: the standard PCM datasheet shows a 15-pin interface, while these units have a 25-pin J1. Pin assignments for X2287 are not published, so work from the equipment's own drawings.

0 to 50kV DC at up to 4mA, 75W max, as printed on the Spellman nameplate.
What mains voltage does it need?
85-265V AC at 47-63Hz, through the IEC inlet J2. No input voltage selector is needed.
What do the INTLK and FAULT LEDs mean?
INTLK shows the external interlock loop, which must be closed before high voltage can turn on. FAULT is the supply's fault indicator.
Does it come with the high voltage cable?
No HV cable is shown in the photos. The J3 output socket is empty.
How does an X-ray tube power supply differ from a general HV supply?
It supplies the tube's high voltage, here up to 50kV at 4mA, and works with an external interlock so HV cannot switch on while the loop is open.
Can it replace a Spellman X2287 with a different revision?
Part number and model match across revisions K6 and AK7. Spellman does not publish what changed between revisions, so check with your equipment maker if the revision matters.
