How much fault current can the FWF3050L interrupt?
The front label is marked FW 40k and lists IEC 947-2 ratings: Icu 85 kA at 240 V, 40 kA at 380 V and 415 V, 12 kA at 690 V, 10 kA at 250 VDC. Service breaking capacity Ics is 85, 40, 40, 6 and 5 kA on the same lines. The NEMA column reads 65k at 240 V, 25k at 480 V, 18k at 600 V and 10k at 250 VDC.
Can I use it on a DC circuit?
Yes, within the label rating of 250 VDC. The label says to use two 100% protected poles for DC.
