Cosel PBA300F-24, a 24V 14A enclosed power supply with twin fans, pulled from a machine. Label: INPUT 100-240Vac 50-60Hz 4.1A, OUTPUT 24V 14A, PEAK 16.5A, MADE IN JAPAN, serial 0482686SR, cULus and CE marks. It is also searched as PBA300F 24 or Cosel PBA300F.
What does the 16.5A peak rating mean?
The supply delivers 14A continuous at 24V. The label allows a short peak of 16.5A, which helps with motor or solenoid inrush. Cosel's PBA300F series is rated 300W and cooled by a built-in fan.
Are the wires on the terminals included?
Yes, the leads are still on the terminal block as pulled. They carry printed markers L13, L23, G24 (three), and O24, plus a short red and black lead to a small white connector beside the V.ADJ trimmer. Cut or remove them to suit your wiring.
Is the Cosel PBA300F still made?
Cosel lists the PBA series as Active (NRND), to be discontinued on October 20, 2028. A used unit is a direct swap for a failed PBA300F-24 with the same output.

Questions about this part
What input voltage does the PBA300F-24 accept?
100-240Vac at 50-60Hz on the label; Cosel gives the working range as AC85-264V single phase.
How many watts is it?
Cosel rates the PBA300F series at 300W. At 24V the label gives 14A continuous and 16.5A peak.
Does it have a fan?
Yes, two fans on the end opposite the terminals. Leave that end clear for airflow.
Can I adjust the output voltage?
There is a V.ADJ trimmer next to the terminal block. Cosel's datasheet gives the allowed range; we did not measure it.
