Stratasys Objet ASY-01008 vacuum module, the complete plate assembly with pump, filter, valves and the BRD-00026 vacuum panel board. The plate label reads P/N:ASY-01008, CON:Q3-S/N:1135, with an OBJET QA-2 sticker next to it. The listing gives ASY-13280-S as the newer part number. Also searched as ASY01008 and ASY 01008.
What is on the plate?
- Small diaphragm pump on a green bracket, with a round inline filter
- Metal Work pneumatic block, made in Italy
- Two solenoid valves with black coils, plus fittings and clear tubing
- A long brass cylinder strapped along the plate
- Objet Geometries Ltd. vacuum panel board BRD-00026 Rev B, with a pressure sensor (U1), a level/comp connector and two spare outputs (SPR1, SPR2)
Which Objet printers does it go in?
The seller's note on this item says it suits Eden, Connex and J7xx machines. Objet built the Eden and Connex PolyJet lines before the Stratasys merger, and the board still carries the Objet Geometries name. Check the part number in your machine's parts list against ASY-01008 or ASY-13280-S.
Why does a PolyJet printer need a vacuum module?
Inkjet heads are held at a slight negative pressure so the material does not drip from the nozzles. When that vacuum drifts, Objet machines stop with a "vacuum out of range" error, and owners on the Hubs forum trace it to the pump, the tubing or the vacuum sensor board.

Questions about this part
Is ASY-13280-S the same part as ASY-01008?
The listing names ASY-13280-S as the new part number for ASY-01008. The unit itself is labeled ASY-01008.
Does it include the vacuum panel board?
Yes. The BRD-00026 Rev B board is mounted on the plate and wired to the valves, as in the photos.
What does a "vacuum out of range" error on an Objet mean?
The machine cannot hold the head vacuum inside its limits. Owners report the cause as the pump, a leaking tube or the vacuum sensor board.
Is the pump included?
Yes. The small diaphragm pump sits on the plate in its green bracket, next to the round filter.
Which machines does the seller list it for?
Objet Eden, Connex and J7xx printers, per the seller's note.
