SUNX DP4-50Z digital vacuum pressure sensor, used, with a push-in tee already on the port. The face reads SUNX DP4 and -101.3kPa. The rear label reads DP4-50Z, pin 1 0V, pin 2 OUT, pin 3 12 to 24V DC, JAPAN. Also searched as DP4 50Z.
What range does the DP4-50 cover?
Vacuum, 0 to -101.3 kPa gauge, for non-corrosive gas. The set range runs from 5.1 to -101.3 kPa, and the display can show kPa, kgf/cm², bar, psi, mmHg or inHg. Withstand pressure is 490 kPa.
How do you wire the sunx pressure switch?
Three-pin connector on the back: 0 V, output, and 12 to 24 V DC. In the DP4-50 family the output is an NPN open collector, 100 mA max sink. SUNX lists it as a DP4-50 vacuum type; the Z suffix is printed on the label but is not in the SUNX table. No mating connector is shown.
What is fitted on the port?
The DP4 has an M5 female port. This one has a brass M5 nipple in it, feeding a grey push-in fitting with two tube ports and a side opening. No panel bracket in the photos.

How does a digital pressure switch work?
A sensing element turns pressure into a signal, the unit shows it on the display and switches its output when the reading crosses your set point. On the DP4 you set that point with the UP and DOWN keys.
Is the DP4-50Z still made?
No. Panasonic lists the DP4 series as discontinued, last time buy September 30, 2013.
Can it be used as a vacuum pressure switch?
Yes, that is the DP4-50 type: 0 to -101.3 kPa, with hysteresis, window comparator and auto-set modes.
Is the output NPN or PNP?
NPN for the DP4-50; the PNP version is the DP4-50P.
Does it include the connector or bracket?
Not in the photos. You get the sensor with the fitting on its port.
