The Festo 185883 is a CPV14-M1H-2X2-GLS-1/8 solenoid valve for the Festo CPV14 valve terminal, with two 2/2-way normally closed valves in one 14 mm valve body. Each of the two valves switches one working port (2 and 4, both G1/8) and is pilot-controlled, 24 VDC, with a pneumatic spring return. The valve body is marked FESTO, D and 185 883, and carries two blue manual overrides marked 12 and 14.
What does "2x 2/2 closed" mean?
A 2/2-way valve has two ports and two positions: open or closed. Normally closed means it blocks flow until its solenoid is energized. The 185883 holds two of these valves side by side, so one CPV14 valve position controls two separate outputs.
